TIZIANO PANTANO (Tizio 0.32)

Tiziano Pantano studied comic art at the Scuola Superiore d’Arte Applicata at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan; in addition to being a comic artist, he is a bass and double bass player. He has collaborated with the independent label “i Cani” and participated in the collective project *Burumballa*, published by Turnè. Subsequently, he collaborated with numerous artists from the Milanese scene and took part in various group exhibitions within that sphere. Due to retinitis pigmentosa, he gradually lost his sight; consequently, in 2018—seeking to continue drawing despite his blindness—he began creating collage-style drawings. Using a wide array of cardstock pieces in various shapes and colors, he constructs images by selecting components through touch and catching glimpses of their appearance, creating works without knowing the final result beforehand, relying instead on his imagination.
